In 秋田市牛島 Akita city, Ushijima, at the Shrine 三皇宮 Sanko no Miya, the General Sakanoue Tamuramaro
placed his tsue 杖 walking cane into the ground.
Soon water begun to gush forth, now seen as reisui 霊水 miraculous water

people came here from many places.
But in Winter the water stopped.
People in Edo used to have rituals for Kobo Daishi to keep the water flowing.
